Had a great trip to the mountains with a coworker and her housemate.

That is a two level house, most 1st floors had snow above the windows. They said heating bills actually go down, snow helps insulate. They have had around 250 inches of snow this winter.

We arrived around 11 on Thursday night, was a chilly 15 below. The weather gradually got better, 20's when we skied, 30's next day. When we got back to Boulder Sunday it was 65F.
