RMNP with the boys

I took Jared and Kevin to Estes on Friday for some hiking, neither had been there. Weather was in the 60's in Boulder, 30's up in the park.

 We attempted Bear Lake to Bierdstadt Lake at first but the trail mysteriously ended and we ended up postholing all over the place(when you fall through the snow). Snowshoes would of slightly helped but there was a lot of gravel too.

 We ended up turning around and going up the trail to Flattop Mtn. We didnt see anyone else the WHOLE time hiking, it was crazy.

We drove back to Boulder then jumped on the bus to the Rockies game.
