Snowdown Festival - Durango

Steph and I met up went to Durango(her hometown) for their annual winter festival, Snow Down. We took Friday off work only to find out both of our offices were shut down from the snow storm. Poor 300m barely made it the 3 miles to Steph's house. We took her roommates SUV down to Golden to meet up with our Denver friend, James.

On the drive, it was only bad for about 2 hours, then all clear. Front range got dumped on, barely anything on the mountains. Our friend James was an amazing driver, Subaru helped a lot! Mom was worried

 Our first destination, Ska Brewery. They made a gingerbread brown beer for the fest, super good! The Snowdown theme was fairy tales, I thought the Wizard would fit in perfect.

The drive home was almost completely clear!
